Traceability

Every leather has a story

We have a comprehensive leather traceability system capable of tracking hides back to the farm groups where they were sourced from. This system also keeps records of every process, including the chemical inputs, tests, operating parameters, machinery, and technical specifications.

We work with reliable supply partners who ensure the traceability of our manufacturing chain, from the final product to the farms where the animals originate. We only work with partners who are in line with our public commitments, and guarantee that all processed leather comes from farms that:

- Are not located in areas of deforestation (in accordance with the Brazilian Forest Code), on indigenous lands or environmental conservation units;
- Do not employ forced labor;
- Do not use areas embargoed by IBAMA.- Are included in a social and environmental monitoring system for cattle suppliers

Understand the traceability process

Each piece of leather produced by Peles Pampa has an identification code stamped on the hide. Through this code composed of four digits and two letters, it is possible to track the group of farms that originated the raw material, date, and processing plants, as well as the tannery of origin that produced the tanned leather.

To access the information, simply identify the code located on the edge of the leather butt and type it in the field below:
